Admission: The following must be completed before admission is granted:
1. Submit the QSI application forms
2. Provide a copy of the child's passport main page(s)
3. Previous school records and payment of the non-refundable US$300 registration fee
4. A parent and student interview with the school director.
Student Placement:
Following official admission procedures, a placement examination is given to each student 6 years old and above to determine the appropriate level of instruction. This exam involves Reading, Language Arts, and Mathematics. The cut off date for a child to be in a certain age group is October 31. For example, if the child is 6 years old on or before October 31, he/she will be in the 6-year old program. If the child was born November 1st or later, he/she will be in the 5-year old program.
*Admission to QSI International School of Chongqing is limited to students who hold a foreign passport or are from Hong Kong, Taiwan or Macao.
